Marcus Graham, Founder & CEO started GM Voices in 1985 after a few years dabbling around with creating studio produced messages for phone systems. Over time, an entire industry of voice technologies grew up around our core competency- producing natural sounding voices with professional voice actors.

Early on, we produced on hold messages for many cable television companies around the country. As voice mail and automated attendant technologies began to surface in the late 1980's, we began to produce voice prompts, greetings and menus for them.

In the early 90’s, voice processing was married to the databases creating interactive voice response (IVR) for a wide range financial applications. Because we worked directly with many of the companies that created these solutions, they sought our assistance as they expanded to other languages and countries around the world.

Today, we produce up to 600,000 words, in 50,000+ messages in 320+ recording sessions on a typical month. We translate and produce voice messages in over 100 languages in over 20 countries around the world.
